The build on this coffee maker is exceptional, it looks great, and it has plenty of options to choose how you make your coffee. Its flexible, I like having the option to make a pot or a pod. Its consistent and makes great coffee. The only thing I would change is the carafe brew basket. It is too small to allow a permanent filter to be installed. If they fixed that single issue it would be pretty much perfect.

The on-screen guidance makes using this coffee machine super simple. Just select whether you're making a single-serving or a carafe and it'll walk you through each step. Once you get the hang of it, you can turn the guides off and get straight to the good stuff (coffee). Most importantly, the machine makes a perfect cup/carafe of coffee, whether we’re brewing our usual light roast or venturing out and trying other roasts.  The carafe keeps coffee at the perfect temp for at least an hour (coffee doesn’t last long around here, so I don’t know how much longer it holds temp well).  The only thing holding back the 5th star is the height when the pod-holder hatch is open. Not a big deal. We slide it a little forward while in use and slide it back under after.

Overall this is a great coffee maker that gives you the option to make a single cup or carafe. You can use pods and coffee grinds for your single cup. You are able to pick the perfect size and how strong you like your coffee. This coffee maker is slick and looks great and makes great cups of coffee. I definitely recommend this product for any coffee lovers!!!

Lotus Coffee Maker Review First impressions out of the box are a bit mixed. You get the sense that this machine tries to do it all, and mostly does it well, but at the same time some parts feel cheap, like corners were cut somewhere along the way. The profile works fine for most counters, but be aware that opening the single serve lid or pulling out the carafe basket on the right side can bump into other items nearby if you're tight on space. The single serve stand is also a bit odd, it's a ceramic piece sitting on top of a plastic pedestal, which again gives off that mixed cheap and premium feel, like the design couldn't quite decide what it wanted to be. Pros: The ability to switch between a reusable single serve container and a timed brew is great. Being able to switch over to the larger carafe option is also a nice touch, especially if you've got multiple people in the house, it makes life easier. On top of that, there's a third option to use Keurig K-Cups directly in the machine without needing a separate device for that. Having all three brewing methods in one unit is a big plus. Additionally the screen is responsive and the menu is easy to follow. The water tank is easy to see and easy to fill. Overall, it brews a good cup of coffee without much effort on your end. Cons: One of the biggest gripes is that the single serve pod comes with a nice mesh and plastic holder for a single cup, but when you switch to the carafe, it's all plastic with a simple exposed spring. I appreciate simplicity, but this feels like a shortcut, it pushes you toward buying coffee filters for carafe brews instead of giving you a reusable option. If they released a separate reusable option down the line, I'd buy it, but it really should have been included from the start. The stand for the K-cup attachment is another issue. It's meant to hide the attachment when not in use, but it sits loosely in place. If you've got multiple people in the house using different cup sizes, constantly removing the stand and the loosely placed attachment gets old fast. For the water tank, the only thing missing is a water filter, something most other units in this category include. My biggest gripe overall is the accent color and material. These pieces feel cheap and look like they'd chip if you looked at them wrong. I've seen this same material in cheap tech toys and lower end cars, and it tends to rub off over time, so it makes me nervous about how well it'll hold up with daily use. Final Thoughts This unit definitely has potential. Would I buy the first generation version? Probably not, but I'd keep an eye out for a second generation to see if they fix some of these quirks. That said, this is just my personal take based on my own use. For others, the convenience of having every brewing method in one machine could be a big selling point, and if that's what you're after, this unit will likely serve you well.

I am so amazed with this coffee maker. It is a good looking machine that does it all simply and easily. It is so attractive on my counter and takes up so little space. From the easy to use water reservoir to the touch screen, every aspect has been thought of. This machine can make a pot of coffee, individual cups from either pods or grounds and iced coffee as well. The touchscreen is easy to use and walks you through the directions quickly and simply making it a dream to use. You can adjust everything from the size of the cup to the strength of the coffee. I was nervous it would stain because it is white but it does not stain at all even after leaving the coffee in the carafe overnight. It makes great coffee, looks fantastic and is simple to use and clean. A win win for me!
