Parmesan Polenta

- 2 cups chicken broth, at room temperature
- 1 cup heavy cream, at room temperature
- 1 cup corn meal
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, plus extra for serving if desired
Directions
Step 1: Blend ingredients
Place all ingredients except Parmesan cheese in the blender in the order listed. Set to SOUP and press start. When timer indicates 30 seconds remaining, remove emulsion cup, and add Parmesan cheese. When the cycle is complete, pour polenta into a serving dish. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Step 2: Optional toppings
Butter, freshly ground pepper, and Parmesan cheese; sautéed mushrooms and gorgonzola; kale, white beans, and sausage; grilled sausages and peppers; beef ragu.
