Will start with the positive. I've had this coffee maker for about a month now, and I will admit it is among the best coffee makers I've owned. Intuitive design, easy to use and clean, and makes some of the best coffee I've had out of a drip maker. The only minor irritation is that sometimes the grounds drawer comes out when you remove the coffee pot. This is a minor issue that in no way affects the overall operation. Perhaps future models could have a release latch or button to keep the drawer in place until deliberately opened. Unfortunately, an otherwise great experience was marred by the abysmal customer service from LOTUS. A week after I placed my order (complete with order confirmation email & payment deducted) I had received no indication of shipping. Upon reaching out to inquire an estimated ship date, I was told there was no record of my order. Not a problem, I still had my confirmation email and proof of payment, which I supplied immediately in response. Over 24 hours later I had no reply. It took two additional emails to receive the answer "we are looking into it." At that point I asked for a refund, given that they had my $600 for well over a week. 24 hours after requesting a refund, I get a note that my order is shipping. It took 48 more hours to actually receive tracking info, and despite the fact that the error was on their part, shipped to me via the slowest possible method of transport. The thing about "luxury goods" is that this phrase means more than an expensive item. It means that when something goes wrong, a company will go above and beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied. Without quality customer service to support the brand, it doesn't take long for a consumer to realize that all they are buying is an overpriced product. It's too bad, because despite how much I'm enjoying my coffee maker, I'll never by a product from LOTUS again.

Absolutely love this coffee maker! The Lotus Top Drip brews rich, smooth coffee every time. The built-in grounds scale is super convenient, and the design looks sleek on my counter.

The AccuBrew option is impressive, letting me customize my brew strength just the way I like it. The included basket works great, no coffee grinds in the pot at all. Even without a hot plate, it keeps my coffee warm for hours, and the carafe pours cleanly without dripping onto the counter. My coffee honestly tastes fresher, cleaner, and just a little stronger. I can't quite explain it, but it's definitely better. Highly recommend!

Great coffee maker— if you grind your own beans this helps with a built in scale to get consistent results. The carafe keeps coffee warm at least 4 hours without a hot plate.
